And the Dream that Mattered

Drama

Out now on Apple TV. Watch it here.

An ambitious Asian actor who’s well on his way to Hollywood success returns home to Korea and soon discovers that even while reconnecting with family and loved ones, his creative journey ahead is even more lonely and difficult than he could have ever imagined.

A Korean-language film primarily set in Seoul, Busan, and Los Angeles, this is a story of an actor in his 40’s who goes through a midlife crisis when he visits his family and realizes that he has not achieved what he set out to do. Self- pity slowly gives way to deep introspection where he understands the values of a home.

Recently, this film had the privilege to host a special private screening at the Lionsgate Studios in Los Angeles. Lionsgate Entertainment Corp. is one of the major Hollywood studios in the International film industry.

Additionally, within a month of concluding post-production, it won the prestigious award for best independent film at the 26th Korean Cultural Academy Awards, hosted by the Korean Cultural Centre of Los Angeles. To spread the word, ‘And the dream that Mattered’ was featured on the Radio Korea AM 1540 talk show in Los Angeles.

This marks Aditya’s first project in the Korean language, and this features Koren Actor Jongman Kim, seen in the Netflix series “Love”, Themo Melikidze (known for Mark Whalberg’s Patriots Day, and 24: Legacy), and producer Minji Kang.
